Why join?
Stockholm Lions LHK is a diverse and friendly club, with members at all stages of life and hockey. Whether you’re new to Stockholm, new to field hockey, or getting back into the game, there is a place for you here.
As well as regular training sessions we have an active social committee and often arrange social events and activities. We want to keep fun at the heart of the club, on and off the pitch.

What do you need to play?
We have some equipment (sticks, shin guards, gloves) that we can lend to new players who do not have field hockey kits. However, all players need normal sports clothes, trainers (non-marking for the indoor season) and a mouth guard to start with.
We can help players to find and buy equipment – we do not want this to be a barrier to people playing field hockey with us!
What is included?
- Training twice a week
- License to play matches
- Regular social events
- Certain equipment to borrow during trainings
- Insurance during trainings and games (official and unofficial)
How much does it cost?
The fees are fixed at the clubs annual general meeting and are to be paid to the club’s account via any of the following options:

Please remember to add your name to the transfer’s message. Membership fees are usually eligible for ”sports contribution” (Friskvårdsbidrag) through your employment.
